Nur Hidayah Mat graduated from University Technology MARA (UiTM) in 2015, earning LL.B (Hons) and BLS (Hons) degrees. She furthered her education at the same institution and obtained a master's degree in Maritime Law.

Throughout her career, Nur Hidayah has gained expertise in different legal domains. She began her journey focusing on General Litigation and Conveyancing as main core of her work. Later, she joined Mu’az Aiman Halem Auzan & Associates as an Associate before progressing to become one of the Senior Associates at Abdul, Low & Partners. In her role, she specialized in Corporate Commercial and Islamic Finance transactions.

Facilitated a fundraising exercise for Advance Digital Venture Berhad and Trillion Cove Holdings Berhad through the issuance of Islamic Redeemable Preference Shareholders (i-RPS). The offering size for this exercise amounted to up to Ringgit Malaysia Two Billion (RM 2Bil).

  • Legal Due Diligence and Corporate Governance Check
  • Conducted a legal due diligence and corporate governance check on Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan.
  • Conducted a legal due diligence and corporate governance check on MARDI Group and its five subsidiaries, namely MARDI Corporation Sdn Bhd, MARDI MAEPS Sdn Bhd, MARDI Consultancy Sdn Bhd, MARDI Ventures Sdn Bhd and MScape Management Sdn Bhd.
  • Corporate Governance Exercise and Retainer Solicitor for Islamic Relief (Malaysia):

Asumed the role of retainer solicitor for Islamic Relief (Malaysia), a humanitarian and development agency and a member of Islamic Relief Worldwide which is working to support and empower the world’s most vulnerable matter.

  • Joint Venture and Franchise Agreements between Laundrybar Turkiye and City Coin Technology Berhad (Laundrybar Malaysia): 

Facilitated the negotiation and drafting of a Joint Venture cum Shareholders Agreement and a Master Franchisee Agreement between Laundrybar Turkiye and City Coin Technology Berhad (Laundrybar Malaysia).

  • Acquisition of Fluenta Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd by Fluenta AS:

Oversaw the acquisition process in which Fluenta AS, a Norwegian company, acquired one hundred percent (100%) shares of Specs Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd (now known as Fluenta Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd).

  • Retainer Solicitor for TDC Holdings Sdn Bhd:

Acted as a retainer solicitor for TDC Holdings Sdn Bhd, handling legal tasks notably as follows: -

  • managing the Goods Supply Agreement exercise. This included engagements with Orgabio Holdings Berhad, valued at over Ringgit Malaysia Two Million (RM 2 Mil), and Altiparmark Gida San V.E, the largest honey supplier in Turkiye, valued at United States Dollars Two Hundred Thousand (USD 200,000.00); and
  • assisting on their expansion of business to Labuan, Singapore and Indonesia.

Additionally, she has expertise in structuring transactions based on Shariah principles and concepts such as Murabahah, Mudharabah, Musharakah, Tawarruq, Ijarah, Istisna', and Wakalah. Her capabilities extend to Islamic product development, venture capital, and private equity funding.
