Mursyidatun Adilah binti Mohamad Nasar is a highly qualified legal professional with a strong background in Islamic Law. She holds a Diploma in Administration of Islamic Judiciary from the International Islamic University Malaysia, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh (both with honors) from Al-Bayt University in Jordan.

Mursyida embarked on legal career in 2018 as a chambering student at Messrs Azaine & Fakhrul. Since being called to the bar as a Syarie Lawyer in 2019, she has obtained qualifications as a Syarie Lawyer in several states, including Perak, Negeri Sembilan, the Federal Territory, Melaka and Selangor.

Throughout her legal experience, Mursyida has gained extensive exposure and trust in handling various family law cases independently. Her expertise covers a wide range of matters, including divorce, matrimonial assets, marriage registration applications, post-divorce claims, child custody and estate management. She has represented clients from Shariah Subordinate Court to the Shariah Appeal Court, showcasing her ability to navigate the complexities of the Shariah legal system.

Mursyida has vast experiencing in handling unique and challenging cases in Shariah Court. Notably, she has handled cases such as obtaining injunctions against molestation on behalf of family members of a prominent politician who has held ministerial positions in various government terms. She has also represented a prominent businessman in the appeal divorce case, whose company is the leading water service provider in Malaysia. Furthermore, Mursyida has dealt with a Mutah case with cost exceeding RM 300 000-00.

Currently, Mursyida is a valued member of the legal team at Messrs Abdul, Low & Partners, where she consistently provides her client with exceptional legal representation both inside and outside the courtroom.

In addition to her role as a Syarie Lawyer, Mursyida actively contributes to the legal community and society. She serves as a moderator for the forum “ Child Custody Crisis After Divorce” organized by IKRAM Malaysia and is one of the presenters from the section “1 Question, 1 Conflict” on Selangor FM.

Mursyida also volunteers her time and expertise as a speaker, sharing insights and providing guidance on various topics related to Family Law and Shariah matters. Her dedication to promoting legal awareness and assisting individuals in solving the complexities of family law issues is highly appreciated within the community.
