She is a law graduate from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with a Bachelor of Law (Hons). She is the Senior Associate at Abdul, Low & Partners (“ALP”) specialising in Corporate and Commercial areas.

She handles numerous corporate clients, Non-profits organizations/NGOs such as Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia and Hidayah Centre Foundation, PUNB (in corporate financing), and Amanahraya Trustee Berhad. She also assisted the SMEs in drafting and preparing commercial contracts for them such as, Shareholders’ Agreements, Trust Deeds, Directors Service Agreement, Sale of Business Agreement, Sale Shares and Purchase Agreement, Licensing Agreement, Franchising Agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Collaboration Agreement, Investment Agreement and many more. She helps the SMEs in obtaining funding and business capital via multiple ways of fundraising. Apart from that, she also has been handling Mergers & Acquisition between corporate entities.

Throughout her practice years, she has also been exposed to the Corporate Secretarial area, wherein she is familiar with the incorporation of companies limited by guarantee (CLBG), unlisted public companies (UPC) and companies limited by shares (Sdn. Bhd.). She is well versed with the guidelines and compliance of the SSM, the Companies Act 2016, and the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2012.

She also handles the conveyancing and real estate matters, among others the sale and purchase of properties, sub-sale, properties under the housing developers, rental and lease of properties, and handling the procedures relating to the Malay Reserve Land. She has attended the signing of the Sale and Purchase Agreements with the purchasers and one of the prestige developers in Malaysia, UDA Land Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of UDA Properties).

As she is well versed in investment agreements, investment terms in Information Memorandum and Private Placement Memorandum and guidelines by Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) in relation to Unlisted Public Companies, Peer-to-Peer Financing (P2P) and Equity Crowd Funding (ECF) and Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA), she has led the litigation team to recover the clients’ principal amount/investment amount via the debt recovery claims.

She is also has assisted international clients (from the Middle East) in setting up business in Malaysia and advising on legal contracts, licenses, and incorporation of companies in Malaysia.

Before she joined Abdul, Low & Partners in exploring her niche, she embarked with MAHA Lawyers and CSQlaw.

Notable transactions:

  1. Advised and drafted the Redeemable Preference Shares (RPS) Subscription Agreement and Information Memorandum for the unlisted public companies in the business of fintech seeking funds via the issuance of RPS / RPS-I with the offering size up to RM250 million.
  2. Advised and drafted the agreements for Amanahraya Trustee Berhad, a corporate trustee services company in their role as the custodian and trustee to their depositors.
  3. Acted as the panel solicitors for Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB) in preparing the financing documents for the SMEs in obtaining financing and funding (working capital) under the Islamic concept of Tawarruq (Corporate financing).
  4. Acted for Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia (IKRAM), Hidayah Centre Foundation (HCF) and NAMA Foundation in advising, preparing and reviewing internal policies, documents, and contracts under the retainers package.
  5. Involved in the Merger and Acquisition process and legal due diligence exercise for the acquisition of rice mills in Batu Pahat, Alor Star and Sg Besar.
  6. Preliminary involved in advising the companies in Dubai and Syria that intended to set up a business (bakery and restaurant) in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Seremban.
  7. Assisted clients in opening private clinics, setting up new branches, and purchasing existing private clinics (take over) in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
