Muhammad Izhar bin Mohd Salehuddin graduated with a Bachelor of Law from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2012. After he completed his chambering at Messrs. Khairul A & Co. Wangsa Maju Kuala Lumpur, he was later admitted as an advocate and solicitor in 2013.
He first started his career as a Paralegal at Messrs. Rashid Tasin & Co. before he practiced as an Advocate & Solicitor at Messrs. Boestamam Ahmad & Co in 2013 until 2014. In 2014, he founded his own legal firm, The Chambers of Muhammad Izhar Then after there’s a merger the firm, a partner of ALP. He then continued his studies for a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah and Practice from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and graduated in 2014.
He is currently practicing as an Advocates & Solicitors since 2103 and practicing as a Syarie Lawyer at Federal Territories in 2015, Selangor and Perak in 2016. Recently he has received accreditation as a Syarie Lawyer at Negeri Sembilan in 2022.
Throughout his practice as a Civil and Syarie Lawyer, he has obtained various experiences in his career since he supervises and handles civil and criminal cases at the Magistrate Court up to the Federal Court and also handles cases at the Syariah Lower Court up to the Syariah Court of Appeal.
Among of the cases that he has been handling are involving sexual crime cases, civil cases involving civil servants and also syariah cases involving Hibah Declaration for properties that value more than 1 million Ringgit Malaysia. He also has recorded cases in the grounds of judgment in Syariah Court for cases handled by him involving child custody, application of hibah declaration and matrimonial property claims.

He also gained experience in criminal cases handled by him through appointment by Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kebangsaaan (YBGK) and syariah cases through appointment by Jabatan Bantuan Guaman (JBG) where he is listed as one of the panel lawyers for both units until to date.
Throughout his practice as an advocate and solicitor and also a syarie lawyer, he has been invited several times to write articles and interviews on the radio as the following:

Other than that, he also actively participates in activities with Bar Council and Selangor Syariah Judicial Department by participating in the following activities:
- Committee Members (Syariah & Bahasa Melayu) (Selangor Bar) from March 2013 until to date.
- Committee Members (Syariah & Bahasa Melayu) (Bar Council) from June 2016 untill 2019.
- Committee Members (Selangor Syariah Judicial Department) for amendment of Enactment of Syariah Court Procedures (Selangor) 2003 to set up the rules of wakalah syarie lawyers starting from 2017-2021.
- Committee Members (Selangor Syariah Judicial Department) for amendment of Enactment of Syariah Court Procedures (Selangor) 2003 to set up rules for online hearing proceeding and efiling from 2022 until to date.
He had been invited as speaker to give talk at Selangor Bar for “Hak-Hak Wanita Selepas Perceraian” held on 3rd October 2019 and “Jenis-Jenis Perceraian” held on 31st October 2019.
As a lawyer, he believes that law provide ways for public to settle their issues and it’s his duty to provide assistance to settle their legal issues. He firmly believes that combination of hard work and patience will assist to settle client’s legal issues.
