
Nur Amirah binti Noor Azlan holds an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), having completed her degree in 2021. She commenced her legal career as a pupil in chambers at Low & Partners (Ipoh) under the tutelage of Ms. Celia Tan Yin Fong and Mr. Kenneth Tan Chik Wai, where she was exposed to a broad range of litigation matters. She was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 2022.
Amirah is presently the Head of Abdul Low & Partners (Parit Buntar Branch), where she advises and represents clients in civil and commercial disputes.
Her practice encompasses general civil and commercial litigation. Including defamation, contractual disputes, non-Muslim family law matters (custody, care and control, and divorce), adoption, probate and administration of estates.
She has particular strength in defending high-value claims and achieving strategic reductions in liability, with a focus on delivering practical and commercially sound outcomes for her clients.
Notable Experience:
- Lead Counsel for a corporate defendant of Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturing & Trading industry in the High Court of Kuala Lumpur, successfully securing the striking out of the plaintiff’s entire claim exceeding RM1,000,000.00 [August 2024];
- Lead Counsel for a corporate judgment creditor of Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturing & Trading industry in the Sessions Court of Shah Alam, successfully obtaining an order in favour of the clients for payment of RM518,569.97 in full together with costs [March 2025];
- Represented the defendant in a high-value unpaid invoices dispute (RM482,000), successfully resisting the majority of the plaintiff’s claim [October 2023];
- Lead Counsel for an individual plaintiff in the High Court of Shah Alam, securing judgment in default of defence in a defamation action following contested proceedings [September 2025];
- Represented the main defendant in a mutual will dispute, achieving a consent judgment fully releasing the client from all claims and liabilities in the matter [February 2025].
